On Top of the World ~ The Annual Jazz Services ~
With pianist Willis Delony, bass player John Madere, and drummer Jonathan Grimes. How would you rule if you “ruled” the world? What would you see if you “sat on top of the world?” Let’s take a look at the world and our relationship to it in the key of jazz. And, by all means, invite a friend.

The Randy Pausch Philosophy of Life
You may have seen the TV interview with Randy Pausch, Carnegie Mellon professor, only a few weeks before he died. We'll have copies of "The Last Lecture" available at our book table not only because his book became a bestseller, but also because this UU's philosophy is worthy of reflection on a Sunday morning in our church.

Guide for Getting Around Religiously
Wouldn't it be cool to have some easy definitions for belief and faith and other words that we frequently encounter in conversation with others outside of our church? Rev. Crump offers what he would include in a survival guide for getting around religiously. A two-part sermon series.

Heaven and that Other Place
Place (Part II of the survival guide sermon series launched last week by Rev. Crump). That "other place" is getting less attention in Christendom than it used to. Why is that? And what does it mean for a mature, postmodern faith? If hell is abolished, what then of heaven?

It's a Karnival!
A church-wide celebration is preceded by a blast from the past: The Dinner Party sermon that Rev. Crump delivered several years ago is back, by popular demand. The original idea came from The Rev. Forrest Church, Sr. Minister of All Souls Unitarian Church, NYC. Join us for an excursion into what to say at the dinner party when someone begins talking about religion and asks you, "What is that church you attend?"

12:30 PM on Sunday, the 28th: Church Wide Karnival Kickoff (see page 6 for fun & food for our entire church community.)
